I am not sure what to say...

There are barely words - as they say each to their own.  If there is one time you should never by a house unseen this is the time...located in Hillingdon, Middlesex and on the market for $750,000 approx.  Link
Typical family home: This four bedroom property in Hillingdon, Middlesex, looks unimposing and traditional from the outside
Rather simple and sweet.. not a hint of what is to come
Looks can deceive: The plain garden gives no clue of the more extravagant decor inside the property

But once inside... Home hunters got a bit of a shock when they discovered the current owner's colour theme

Fifty shades of purple: The white kitchen unit is offset by the purple walls and carpet

Dinner time: The dinning table chairs perfectly match the colour of the carpet and the curtains

Sweet dreams: One of the four bedrooms in the property. The owners has even sourced purple wardrobes and chest of draws

Who would live in a house like this? Someone who loves purple. Not even the bathroom escaped the violet theme

Matching: Everything from the carpet, walls and window curtains are a shade of lilac

Quick sale: The four bedroom property is on the market for £400,000 - with a buyer already said to be lined up

Spotless: But while the decor may not be everyone's cup of tea, the estate agent handling the sale describes the property as being 'maintained to a high standard'

Purple extravaganza: The advert for the unusual property has gone viral on the internet

Real Estate Stalking.......Brunswick Vic.

I am a big big big fan of TDF so was a tad excited that Lucy showed her own home one Wednesday on her blog -now the house is a tad too small for out family  -the boys sharing a room is not an option for everyone's sanity - but if we could afford a  wee little holiday home in Melbourne this would fit the bill nicely.. listed here while it lasts.

The Block

Yep it's on again! We have not been as glued to this series as previous Block episodes - I really can't stand the whole catty comments etc but do love the reveal - I am hoping that Brad and Dale come up trumps. Not a fan of the Queensland couple. Love their decor and sense of style and the use of wood but find her to be whiny and a tad too feel sorry for myself - really lets put things in perspective - you are on show you want to be on  - you have enough money or at least the ability to leave your jobs and still are able to live  - so stop complaining...  Again as previous years I do watch the show with some unease given that it is so vacuous but I am a sucker for interiors. The story so far...(all homes listed on realestate.com.au)

Did agree with the judges about the lighting - and they have changed their table from ones that was in the room reveal.

Real Estate Stalking in ....Doubleview, WA

Again a while since I last posted - combining work with kids and with life in general makes for a busy time and something has to give - and that somethings the blog - or the alternative is that I perhaps need to be more organised but whatever the reason I am back now.

Have been stalking real estate again .. this time in my own back yard!  Doubleview is not far from, the beach and relatively close to Perth city -but a tad far from Freo and I would not been keen to do a daily commute for work and school - but if I could transport the house down Freo way then my offer would be on the table now!  Listed here while it lasts.
