Revisiting The Block

Cast your mind back to a few years ago - when Katrina and Amie were on The Block - well for around $900 a week their home is for rent. Still have table envy .. listed here while it lasts

Hmm - sure we could incorporate a fire pit somewhere.

Tried to talk love of my live into making the light fixtures - they would great in our outdoor area! (when we do that)

The Block 2013

For the past two years we have been sucked into watching The Block - but for some reason this season we have only caught snippets of the show - I am kinda over the bickering and fighting and really only want to see the end results - it is also hard to reconcile the show in my head and the spending of over $150 on a single bed sheet. But I do like some of the design features.. (all homes listed on here while links last)

Not a fan of Matt - think he needs a good wash and he is a bit cocky but do love his wood wall above and the round fireplace below is one hell of a sexy fireplace!!

MACRAME

I was an avid macrame pot holder maker in my younger years - if only I could remember how to do it now - loving the colours of the pot holder and so want one - but I am sure I could make one and save myself the $50. Following this link for a pretty good tutorial on how to make a macrame pot holder!!
