So last night was the big kitchen reveal - and I have to say they were all very impressive - though I have a bias towards Sophie and Dale and Lara and Brad... but I will give credit to all of them.  You can't argue that Sophie and Dale were way out ahead and even with two bonus points the boys only won by 1/2 a point.  I really liked the map that L&B had in there island bench - what a great idea  - shall keep that for future reference.

Love the lights over the island bench - we have some similar and I was keen on white but perhaps the black is more striking.

The Block again..

What a wild and windy night we have had - tree down, roofs blown  away, fences down - and the drive to rowing this morning (at 5.20am) was like being on a dodgem track - trying to miss the branches that lay across the road.  My mantra after I dropped off Mr A to rowing  was "no raining while they are training" and I am pleased to report it would look like not a drop in the last hour and half so I am pleased.

So what about the block last night???  I liked both the rooms that Sophie and Dale and Brad and Lara presented and in fact also Dan and Danni.  But I am not a fan of Dan and Danni  - yes I know that the producers need a villain but even if half the stuff was staged it still does not really show Danni in a great light - yes it is a competition  - I am not liking her smugness!!  And as for the "we don't care what people think" - well yeah you probably do.

But what about the rooms ...like that both S&D and L&B have bespoke furniture.

The Block

Okay I admit it  - I watch The Block.  We have a no TV rule during the week but have taken to watching the Block- and to make this all the more sinful we have been know to have the TV on while having dinner (okay we do eat around the table so are not that neanderthal)!!

So my fav couple - it's a tie between Sophie and Dale (S&D) and Brad and Lara (B&L).  I like S&D's eclectic style -and have now discovered Urban Attitudes  - what cool fun stuff they have!!  Whlie not so then by Brad and Lara's style I love th they are really trying to maintain the heritage of the house and work to keep our past as opposed to obliterate it - andy they have made some great decision doubt maximising spec very clever.

I am going to have to get some Mason light jars!
